Most exam preparation starts with the textbook and hopes the exam takes care of itself. We do it the other way round. Exam Focus starts with the exam itself, past papers, marking criteria, and the exact format a student will sit, and works backward to build the specific skills that exam demands.

We focus on the question types students actually get in their exams, built into each student's programme through:

• Past paper practice, so students are working with real exam material rather than approximations of it

• Bespoke worksheets, created by us to target the specific gaps and question types each student needs to work on

• Marking scheme literacy, so students understand not just what the right answer is, but how examiners award marks for getting there

• Exam technique, time management, command words, how to structure an answer under pressure, the skills that separate a student who knows the material from one who can prove it in the room
